How many hours are included in the rental? Can I buy additional hours?

12 hours of consecutive use are included in the venue rental which includes up to six hours of event time (Ceremony Start Time to the End of Dancing). Up to one (1) additional hour may be secured for an extra, non-prorated hourly rate and this cost is determined by the location and use of the space. Please reach out to your assigned Event Manager and they can help determine allowable time and cost.

Are there any décor policies? Can I have real candles?

Yes, all decorations, flowers and entertainment must be pre-approved by the venue. Rose petals and bubbles are permitted anywhere on the property, balloons must be contained to indoor use only and confetti, glitter, rice and birdseed are not permitted anywhere on the property at all. Real flame candles can be used at Crooked Willow Farms if you have real flowers. The candles need to be enclosed in a glass vase/hurricane and the flame must be below the top of the glass. LED candles are REQUIRED if you have any Faux/dried flowers, baby’s breath,  or eucalyptus in your decorations.

Is food and beverage included in the cost of the venue?

No, food and beverage are a separate cost. You will contract directly with your chosen Caterer for food and Peak Beverage for the bar. Here is a list of our required & preferred vendors.  https://crookedwillowevents.com/partners/

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Clients will be allowed to bring in their own beverages while getting ready in the suites prior to the ceremony.  We allow beer, wine, champagne, and hard seltzers, along with any non-alcoholic drinks (water, sparkling water, soda, Gatorade, energy drinks etc.).  NO HARD ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN. Once Peak Beverage arrives, our exclusive Beverage Provider, all alcohol in the suites will need to be served at the bar in accordance with Colorado Liquor Laws.

Is there parking onsite?

Yes. We have a parking lot onsite that is prepped with 80+ chalked spaces. We also offer (2) Handicap spaces near the drop-off location for the venue.

Do you allow sparklers for a sendoff?

Due to Fire Restrictions in our area, Sparklers are not permitted at anytime on property. Some other great send-off ideas are bubbles, LED fiber optic wands, foam glow sticks, and wands with bells/ribbons. We do allow Cold Spark machines for outdoor use as another option to create the stunning firework effect. (Subject to approval by Fire Marshal).

Do I have to purchase liability insurance?

Yes, event/liability insurance is required for all events hosted on our property. We require each client to obtain commercial general liability insurance (“CGL”) coverage in an amount not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000), per occurrence and Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) general aggregate. The Venue shall be named as an additional insured on such CGL policy. When naming the additionally insured the following language needs to be reflected: Joule, Inc. dba The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms, all subsidiaries related or affiliated companies, its officers, employees, agents and directors. Can I have my dog be part of my ceremony?

Yes, we are an animal friendly property! With multiple animals and ponds onsite, we ask that dogs always remain on a leash, please clean up after them promptly, and please have a plan for them pre & post ceremony. Can I purchase my own linens, glassware, and tableware instead of renting them?

No, all rentals will need to go through our exclusive rental partner, Event Rents. Your caterer, planner or your CWF Event Manager can help handle the order. The only exception to this is Peak Beverage will provide all your bar glassware.

Can cars be left onsite overnight?

Yes, we do allow cars to be left onsite overnight and picked up the following morning between 8am-10am. We would rather a guest be safe than drink & drive.  We ask that whoever leaves a car onsite lets one of our staff members know so we can plan the pickup accordingly as we are a private property and our front gate locks at the conclusion of each event.

Is there cell service available on property?

Cell service is limited but we do have Wi-Fi available onsite for all guests to use. We also have 2 landline phones for use.

Do you have a list of required vendors?

Yes, we do a list of required vendors. You are required to hire one of our (6) caterers, Peak Beverage for all bartending services, Event Rents for all rentals, and we do require you to hire a professional planner. All other vendors such as entertainment, floral, photography, etc. can be of your choosing but we do have a preferred list to help get your search started. Does Uber or Lyft provide transportation to and from The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms?

Uber and Lyft have limited service in our area. To ensure reliable transportation, we suggest pre-booking your rides prior to attending your event.
